Kork Market Opens
The new market at Tuol Kork is now open. Not just the
new stallholders, but people in the surrounding houses
are cheering as well. "The place used to smell
of garbage and rotten stuff, but now we have a new market,"
said a beaming Mr. Chan Thevy who has been staying in
the area for more than 15 years. There are about 456
stalls in total and the design resembles the Psar Thmei
- bright and very well ventilated.
